2002 (JUNIOR): Earned her first All-America award as a utility player after a stellar season as a pitcher and third baseman o became the first player ever to earn spots on the All-Big West First Team at two positions (pitcher and third base) o also named All-West Region First Team and selected to the NCAA Regional team o posted a 22-4 record in the circle with a 0.73 ERA - ranking seventh in the nation o threw her first-career no-hitter in a 2-0 victory at Utah State o tossed 21 complete games with nine shutouts in 172.2 innings o amassed a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 3.6-to-1 (189 strikeouts, 52 walks) o opponents hit just .158 against her o Oaks also hit .301 on the season to go with 13 doubles, 10 home runs and 32 RBI o scored a team-best 52 runs o walked 22 times, was hit 15 times and amassed an on base percentage of .412 o slugged .520 on the year o led the team with six stolen bases.

2001 (SOPHOMORE): Oaks compiled a 19-7 overall record with a 1.71 ERA in her second season with the Titans o earned First-Team All-Big West honors as the utility player and also made the All-West Region First Team at the position o earned Big West Pitcher of the Week honors three times o won her last five starts of the regular season, posting a 0.68 ERA in 31 innings while striking out 40 batters o led the team for the second straight season by striking out 178 batters in 156.0 innings while walking only 40 o her 178 strikeouts rank 10th on the all-time single-season lists o threw 16 complete games and six shutouts o held the opposition to a .208 batting average o ranks eighth all time in career strikeouts (316) and is tied for fourth on the career saves list (4) o hit .287 with five home runs and 38 RBI o hit two grand slams in a single game against Kansas (2/2) o had a season-best six-game hitting streak during which she hit .421 (8-for-19) with two doubles, a home run, and nine RBI o scored 28 times and knocked 10 doubles o walked 20 times and was second on the team with seven hit by pitches o led the team with 18 sacrifice hits.

2000 (FRESHMAN): Oaks posted a 14-4 record in the circle with a 1.52 ERA o earned second-team All-Big West honors o appeared in 26 games (16 starts), throwing five shutouts and saving two games o allowed 36 runs (28 earned) while walking 24 batters o allowed 94 hits in 128.2 innings o opponents hit .197 against her while striking out 138 times o Oaks hit .313 on the year to go with eight doubles, four home runs, and 18 RBI o scored 26 runs and slugged .463 o walked 13 times and had eight sacrifices.

NATIONAL TEAM INFORMATION

Selected as one of 17 players to the US National "Elite" Team to serve as the "sparring partner" for the National Team in the summer of 2002 o Did not see any action as a pitcher, but appeared in eight games in the field, hitting .250 (4-for-16) with five runs scored, a double and five walks o ranked fourth on the team with a .455 on base percentage, second in walks and tied for fifth in runs.

RANCHO CUCAMONGA HIGH SCHOOL

Competed four years on both the varsity softball and soccer teams and was a two-year member of the varsity cheer squad o a two-time All-CIF player, she was her team's MVP all four years and earned all-league honors all four years as well o second-team All-CIF in 1997 o Daily Bulletin Player of the Year in 1999 o received the first annual 1999 Quakes High School Player of the Year award, presented by the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes o an honor roll student throughout her prep career o represented the U.S. in Taiwan as a member of the silver-medal winning junior national team o competed for Pam Newton and Chenita Rogers on the Flash D' Gold team o two-time ASA All-American in 1998 and 1999.

PERSONAL

Born in Duarte parents are Bob and Irene has an older brother, Bobbyo is a kinesiology and health promotion major who hopes to play softball professionally o cites her first perfect game in her freshman year of high school as her most memorable sports thrill o Chipper Jones is her favorite sports personality o nickname is "G" o does a dead-on imitation of Woody Woodpecker.
